It looks as though the RAMP is moving.
My claim when to Notification yesterday.
With a estimated completion of: July 27 - Aug 2
Fingers crossed that I don't have to appeal ....

I opted in (without invitation) and vets.gov has my RAMP initiation. My legacy appeal closed (now that it's in RAMP).
Supplemental lane is the route I chose. I will post updates when available.

If you are SC for PTSD, then you would need to submit a new claim for an increase. As far as treatment goes, that does not guarantee anything. I spent 110 days in a Mental Hospital while on Active Duty in 2012, and I was only awarded 30% PTSD VA when I was Medically Retired a year later. You just need to go do the Treatment, and decide what is best for you and your family. As long as you are seeking Treatment thru the VA for PTSD, then the Notes and Treatment records will speak in support of you. Good luck and keep us posted. God Bless!!!

At MY VAMC, if I want less than 20 pages, I can get it "now". However, if I want my entire medical records they have to be mailed to me and wait weeks. So, go to ROI and have the date or date range, and you may be able to walk out with em.

If you had your 2006 C & P exam at your VAMC, you can go to the "Release of Information" office at your VAMC and request a copy of your 2006 exam report by filling out a form.

When you're greeted by the examiner and he asks how you're doing, don't smile and say "good"....Be up front and honest in every aspect about everything you mentioned. Tell him exactly what you mentioned in your post. Those examiners know who's exaggerating and who's not. Best of luck to you...

Welcome aboard and you just go in there and be honest. If your SC PTSD is what caused you to react so badly and depend on Addictions then you should talk about it with the C&P Doc. Don't over do it, just make sure you get your point across. Don't dress too nice, or smell like good cologne. Again just be honest and everything will work out. Good luck and God Bless!!!!
