  1. I have (among other MS symptoms) neurogenic bladder which has worsened and when I put in for an increase naturally I was reduced.  Makes zero sense.  Now I am in appeals-ville.

A BIG shout-out to my husband who does not get paid to care for me.  He resigned from his job for which I will be eternally thankful.

We go day by day---it could always be worse.  Staying positive.  👩‍❤️‍👨

  2. Watch out for PREDNISONE...a very powerful drug which has positive and negative qualities.  It is the first line of defense (in both IV and pill form) for calming an exacerbation of Multiple Sclerosis.  It also causes cataracts.

I have had so much Prednisone for MS exacerbations so much so that I developed cataracts in both eyes.  Both eyes are cataract free now thanks to a local ophthalmologist well worth the cost.  I am grateful to have had the cataracts removed, the doctor said I was one of his youngest cataract patients and confirmed they were steroid (prednisone induced).

The cataracts are secondary service connected at 0%.  Now I can buy that Porsche (not)  😐

  3. This is a very interesting conversation...one of my friends is from France and she is due to take the citizenship test in a few months.  She is not one to get into trouble thank goodness but you never know.  This is the first time I thought about deportation.

  4. Hi

    Hope all is good.

Seeking opinions on how to proceed:  there is new medical info in the myhealthevet (this appears to be helpful to my appeal but who knows), anyway, is it best to give the info to the VSO or should I mail it to my regional (certified return receipt requested) ?  Also, does whomever is working on my appeal have access to the medical treatment notes in myhealthevet?

    Thank you.

  5. Hi,

    Hope all is well.

I kept my appeal in Legacy for several reasons; one VERY important reason is the fact I am afforded due process.

I was recently told by peggy all appeals will be in RAMP in Feb 2019.  Since I did not sign anything about RAMP will I still be entitled/afforded due process should my appeal come to that?

My "has an office in a VA building" VSO is closed mouthed and it would be a waste of time to ask him.

    Thank you in advance.

Hang in there everyone I hear Santa Claus may be coming to town.  🤨

  6. Hi, I believe it is well past time to change my primary care doctor.  Why?  Hmmmmm, the doctor appears to be a flake who does not remember things I have told them.  So my question is how does a Veteran request a new doctor without ruffling feathers?  There is an epic rant involved with this situation but I will spare you all.  🤬

    Thank you.
