  1. Got my white envelope in the mail went from 70% to 90%. I guess when they did my C&P exam for TDIU they increased some of my other compensations.
  2. Not sure why they have your parent down. that's what the compensation chart says. do you live with your parents? If you don't mind me asking what did you put in for. 80% is high.
  3. Dominipino, That is how much your monthly compensation will be. Is that more than you were geting before ? That is 80% service connected. A Veteran with one parent. Sounds like they already made a decision. Is that under your AB8 letter?
  4. Thank You All, I don't think it has sunk in yet. My claim was at the Los Angeles RO.
  5. Whoo Hoo I got it 100% TDIU P&T. Took 14 months from start to finish. Thank you everyone for all the info and support.
  6. I did it 100% TDIU P&T whoo hoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Dominipino im in the same boat as you, Pending decision approval. I'm more stressed now then the whole 16 months I've been waiting.
  8. Still waiting...... Nothing changing in e-benifits.
  9. My claim today went from reviewing of evidence, to preparation for dicision, to pending decision approval. in 5 hours time ????? I hope this means a decision is close
  10. My claim today went from reviewing of evidence to preparation for dicision to pending decision approval. in 5 hours time ?????
  11. Hamslice, I had to go through the same thing. The payback was before taxes right. For example, if you got $50,000 in seperations pay and they took out $20,000 In taxes. you should have only had to pay off $30,000 not the whole $50,000
  12. My C&P examine was for 100% TDIU (an increase in PTSD) Not sure why my VAMC makes you go through the RO. They wouldn't release any info to me. Maybe the Dr. was a contractor working for the VAMC.
  13. According to my VAMC I have to go through the RO to get a copy of my C & P exam. So last week I requested a copy of the exam and my C-file. Not expecting it anytime soon. It will probably be as long as their claim process.
  14. I'm confused if I'm getting the C file and the C&P report from the RO or the VAMC I am seen at. Forgive me this is all new to me. I have gotten records at the release office before. But never a C&P exam.
  15. Coot, Do I get my c file from VAMC office also? The reason I asked about the C&P exam, the receptionist at the C&P office which is my VAMC told me I had to request that exam report from the RO. She told me the VAMC would not give it to me. I have gotton Medical Records of mine from the VAMC before. I have an appt Tues I will try then.
  16. How would I get a copy of my C & P report? Can I get it from the VAMC that did the examine? Or, do I need to request it from the regional office that is working my claim?
  17. I'm currently receiving SSDI for my PTSD, can I collect 100% TDIU also? I was told one of them would be reduced because I can't double dip. I'm not allowed to receive pay twicw for the same disability.
  18. It was at a VAMC. I'm there every week so I will pick up a copy on Wed... Hopefully it won't be long before I hear something.
  19. Good news, I had my C&P exam. It lasted 40 minutes. I brought in my other evals and my support letters from family and friends. The Dr. read through them briefly. He stated he knows the outside Dr. that performed my nueropsycological exam. Before I left the Dr. told me he didn't want me to stress out anymore. He was going to right his report and deem me unemployable. He said there is no way you can work. Lets just hope the regional office thinks so. Two Doctors same oppinion.
  20. I'm on it Carlie, have a copy of it all. I think it will be okay a little anxious. My wife is going with me. That will help, she is my rock.
  21. Carlie, Total % is 70% ( 50% for PTSD )(20% IBS and lower back) (10% right shoulder, Left knee,)
  22. Willie74, Should I bring my statements from family and friends that was submiitted for my claim.
  23. So I received a call today from my local VA Medical Center. They schedule me for a C&P exam for tomorrow and Sat. All of a sudden things are moving fast. What do I need to be prepared for. It's for increase in PTSD for TDIU. I am currently at 50%.
  24. Chuck75, I was Civil Service and on probation. It would have been hard for them to get rid of me if I was Perm. Had 2 month left before perm. Even went to the Union Office.
  25. Coot, I was denied sevice connection for the TBI because it wasn't documented in my service record. I had a RPG hit the humvee I was traveling in and it exploded. We were still mobile so they told us to continue. Never lost consciesness but was dazed, so they never sent myself or my driver to seek medical attention. When submitting my appeal I attached my award for a combat action ribbion that stated I was in the explosion. The outside DR. said no doubt I have a TBI from an explosion. He is the one that deemed me unemployable for TBI and PTSD. My social security award letter is solely for PTSD. I did submit my letter stating why I was fired from a Federal Position. It was do to PTSD related things and behaviors. However e benifits doesn't list everything received. i sent it but it's not listed. Should I resend everything ? I have received 3 letters from family and one from a friend re: my PTSD and how it effects me I will be mailing thise tomorrow.
