Disabled Vet License Plates

Rate this question

Sgt eve

Question

I received my disabled vet plates today. I'm not trying to sound greedy at all but when I filled out the form I put down both of our cars, since I drive both and they both are in my name. Will those come at a later time? My registration is already due and and I don't want to get a ticket but I don't want to pay to get the other car registered and then the plates come in. Any experience in this anybody? Thanks so much.

MAXWELL

In reference to your question concerning the DV tag in Florida.

Contact your local Tax Collector Office. I asked at my local office

and was told that the DV was indeed entitled to use the Handicap

parking space, in fact they gave me a reference to the to the state

reg.

I have seen motorcycles with DV tags parked in handicaped spaces.

There is not a summary on the web site shown below, but the site does have each state listed and contains information for each state with regard to reduced fees/plates for disabled vets.
