I have always wondered if it was Post Office or VA who swiped my Meds. Funny how they always know when it is xanax or a pain pill. I think they made a mistake in December when they swiped a Blood Pressure Med but it took me 18 days of being out to get it replaced.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

I was a postal worker. The postal inspectors used to send open letters stuffed with cash to my letter case to see if I would bite. It was pretty obvious. Quite a few postal workers do get in trouble for stealing. I never needed money bad enough to give those &^%$ the pleasure of putting handcuffs on me. I was a union steward and the USPS just hated me. The inspectors came and counted my cash drawer one time hoping they could find a shortage that I could not explain. No dice. When they crashed in on me I called my lawyer, and he gave them an earfull.

This nation has a major drug problem and meds by mail is a large target for thieves. UPS, Fed Ex and the USPS have all been robbed by drug seekers.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

Yep. When my independent male carrier brings my Methadone to the door, she says she always know it's class 2 drugs, as she has many vets on the route. If you told VA you didn't get your meds, the first thing they would usually say is "you took too much", "you're lieing" and ask you to file a police report.
