MikeS
Hi all: Got my ssdi July of 2003. Paid me back to February of 2002. Award letter said I get reviewed in three years. Is the review three years from my 2/2002 date of disability or the 7/2003 date they paid me? Thanks Mike S.
Raven
On question 4 of the review about school- I was thinking about taking a couple of collage classes (using my GI bill) for something to do besides going crazy around here- Has anyone who answered yes to that review question every had it impact their SSDI? Patrick428
Raven, I would be a little leary of telling SSDI that your going to school. SSDI has this "Inability to engage in substantial gainful activity rule" that sets the tone for how SSDI is awarded. If you go back to school it can be perceived that you can engage in gainful activities. If you just received the SSA-455 and are not in school at the moment, then answer it as a 'No." Technically your not in school. However if you do go to school after ther fact the next SSA-455 that comes in the mail you will have to weigh the choices in how you wish to answer it.
