HadIt.com Elder SouthernBelle Posted September 1, 2008 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 1, 2008 What many people fail to realize with taxes is that when you pay too much in taxes, that's what your refund is. By getting a refund you have given the Federal Government an interest free loan. They would NEVER return the favor. I'm just saying... No bonus...and IRS kept our 1200. I hate taxes and interest and penalties...was it worth it to work all these years? Not! Still paying taxes on taxes. Haven't received any $ from IRS since 1973. Been paying them more and more each year. Never claimed dependents during the year either. Sucks.

In Memoriam Stretch Posted September 3, 2008 In Memoriam Share Posted September 3, 2008 Don't ask don't tell??????? I missed one class that I was paid for in 1977 ($200). The VA hounded me for 5 years until I was able to pay it back. It probably cost the vA $500.00 in paper work and man hours to hound me every month. This is why I think it is good to find out.
