Today I received a call from the senior Counselor and the Man Told me that My Earlier Effective Date was Granted ..Thats back to 1994.... But they are still working on the Percentages on Both Shoulders to complete the Claims.I sent in Two - IMO's for the "percentages Appeals" one from my family Doctor and One complete Medical Evaluation from a specailist - Orthopedic Doctor with MRIs..The Doctors Opinions were much higher the the VA,s .. Makes Me feel better Knowing that they Granted the EED

I think to get a 100 % is going to be another Battle--Maybe someday, I still need to work ,But cannot do what I used to.The reasons are from the Injurys from The service to My shoulders... I am Unable to do it..Doctors say if I do I will need fake Parts in a matter of 5 years.. I Just would like a fair rating at this point..The Granted EED is Only a notice of One of three Issues.. on that Appeal. The Va has to come up with a fair percentage on the Rt shoulder, Thats the one filed for 1n "1994" and the - 'left that was file for in 2005, They are connected already but the gave me only 10% each shoulder and If I were only 10%, I would have not asked for there help. I think 30% each side would be fair. I could sleep with that and stop tossin and turning in the nightmare called the VA process. That would actually Help My family and I. Maybe make up some of the money I have lost sence 1991 till now. It would be closer to fair -I would still be the loser but I would feel better about it.

Waiting Waiting Waiting For thr VA to do there Job

macool,

You have to remember to take into consideration

that whatever date they go by for your award, you are

also entitled to extra dependent pay from as far back

as VA grants you 30% SC or higher.

If you haven't filled out and submitted a 21-686c you

will need to do this.

I would let that retro check hit the bank first though.

Do you get direct deposit from VA ?

What Carlie just said.

ANNND, if your percentage goes to 50% or above, get thee down to the VAMC, to their "cost recovery team" and tell 'em you want ALL your money back that you have been paying in for co-pays..........back to 1994

"It is cold and we have no blankets.

The little children are freezing to death.

My people, some of them, have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food; no one knows where they are-perhaps freezing to death.

I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find.

Maybe I shall find them among the dead.

Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad.

From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever."
