Question

All Walgreen's stores on TUESDAY's ONLY

off a 15% discount off your total purchase,

to include 15% off of an item with a sale price.

For some unknown reason you must make your

purchase at the cosmetics cashier and tell them

BEFORE they ring it up.

If you are a Military Veteran, Disabled Veteran

Military Retiree, Active duty or have a VAMC

or any Military ID, to include spouse of deceased,

just show any ID that shows Military association.

This does not apply to a VA employee ID.

The discount does not apply to Alcohol, Tobacco Products

and for an unknown reason ...... get this..... MILK.

And don't forget Lowe's is always 10% discount.

I try to spend my money where they honor service to our country.

Yup, I was in Lowes a couple of weeks ago. The Cashier asked me if I was a veteran (guess she saw my USMC baseball cap), and I told her I was, and showed her my MWR card, and bingo, I saved about $50.

Thanks, Lowes. We appreciate it.

My people, some of them, have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food; no one knows where they are-perhaps freezing to death.

I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find.

Maybe I shall find them among the dead.

Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad.

From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever."

There's a lot of stuff out there for veterans.

The Wife and I were talking about taking a week and going to Disney World.

Did you know that, on the Disney World property, there is a special Hotel that is for Military and/or Veterans ONLY. And they have a really nice facility. And, it's cheaper than the other lodges on the property.

Shades Of Green is the name of it.

And if Home Depot doesn't give a discount, just ask the store manager if he'd rather you make your purchase at Lowe's, where they do give a veteran discount. Chances are he'll authorize a discount, right then.

Good news. I shop at Walgreens quite often for incidentals and this will be something I definitely bring up next time I shop.
