Meddac Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 IRIS can be used to check on any type of claim, ask general questions, or to make a claim. I have a few claims that are from IRIS inquiries. It doesn't slow the progress of your claim down. It may take a week to get an answer, but your claim still goes on during that time. They don't get your file.
