HadIt.com Elder LarryJ Posted July 28, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted July 28, 2009 ........and, the very minute the poor schmuck hits the DC city limits with that tractor, he's gonna be ridin in something else. Something about John Deere equipment and the steady flow of traffic in one of the MOST congested city's on earth. Heck, the last time I was up there, oh 10-12 years ago, it took me two hours to go from the Ramada Inn across from the Watergate, down to the Amtrac Station. Yup, they'll be waitin on his tractor, and him, claim he's obstructing traffic (which, of course, he will be) and whisk him and his tractor off to the impound yard(s). Problem solved. "It is cold and we have no blankets. The little children are freezing to death. My people, some of them, have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food; no one knows where they are-perhaps freezing to death. I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find. Maybe I shall find them among the dead. Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad. From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever." Chief Joseph

WHOLESALE
Larry, you always have some off the wall stuff to say and I have to tell ya you you always seem to trip my depression a little. You make me forget about all the negative stuff even if it's just for a minute or two.... Glad you're here Larry. trailblazer
Larry, you can always pick people up when they are having a bad day. I do believe had you been on the Tiatanic when she went down you would have found some humor in it.
HadIt.com Elder LarryJ Posted July 28, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted July 28, 2009 Of course, if he's equipped with a brush-hog on the back of his tractor he could do a little mowin', kinda purty up the place, you know, public service and whatnot! He'd be the ONLY person in DC making an honest effort! "It is cold and we have no blankets. The little children are freezing to death.
