Question

I live in the Northern Virginia area outside of DC where the cost of living is a bit high. I have been looking at the pay charts for SC'd disability at 100% and being TDIU. How do you ladies and gentleman get by on this compensation and not being able to work?

I make sure my wife gets up and goes to work every morning! I mean, after all, how hard is that?

You pinch pennies, buy generics, go to the dollar stores, sell your excess furniture, sell excess clothes to thrift stores. I worked many years, and it all stopped in 02. Received 100% SSDI with immediate exam first time. Waiting on VA and hope I can get 100% TDIU as SSDI granted for the sc one's.

I do live in the midwest but the COL keeps going up, and so do the taxes here too.
