sgmdae
I poorly filled out my dependents information ie left off Wife SSN number I got my rating letter stating they will pay me at the without Dependents Rate I immediately submitted the SSN for my wife. My questions are: Will I get another rating letter, with the correct RATE? Will the retro pay in a check, or direct deposit, now that I have it started If its direct deposit, will the retro pay be included in the monthly check or will it be seperate

If you have direct deposit, It will go to your bank account. I recently had a child of mine added due to college attendance and they sent me a check from the month of enrollment. They sent a rating letter reflecting that change as well. Hope this answers your questions. Good luck.

navydoc2
Yes that answers the questions How long did it take?? It took about thirty days to get the new award letter and about five days later I got the check. You may know already; that sometimes the check will beat the award letter especially if you have direct deposit.
sharon
It depends on the workload of the regional office. It normally takes about 3 months give or take. It is a easy claim to work and should not take long. You will get another letter and a retro check/direct deposit.

It took until July for me to be added, but we had retro back to 1st of Feb, the 1st regular payment following eligibility.
