I honestley don't know if I have any more fight left in me to appeal this. navy, Pick your butt up off the ground. It's not like you can go out and get employment. Your VA and SSA is the only income you can snag. I would not make haste. You have a certain amount of time to request a reconsideration from SSA. I would grab a SSA law firm real quick. They will know what and how to do it. They only get paid if your SSA claim gets granted as fully favorable and it's well worth the money to pay them out of your retro. I qualified in that as well when I applied for SSDI. I was denied. I went to legal Aid, which is no cost attorney representation. In short, a year later I received my full award. Worth considering. They denied me because they said while I can't do the job I used to do (nursing) I could find gainful employment doing something else. I have not worked since June of 08.
