navy,

Pick your butt up off the ground.

It's not like you can go out and get employment.

Your VA and SSA is the only income you can snag.

I would not make haste.

You have a certain amount of time to request a reconsideration

from SSA.

I would grab a SSA law firm real quick.

They will know what and how to do it.

They only get paid if your SSA claim gets granted as fully favorable

and it's well worth the money to pay them out of your retro.

With SSA you can have a lawyer from the get go or anytime.

Get one now !

jmho,

carlie

Since you have filed for SSDI I will assume you have very limited income. I qualified in that as well when I applied for SSDI. I was denied. I went to legal Aid, which is no cost attorney representation. In short, a year later I received my full award. Worth considering.

crimson,

SSDI has NOTHING to do with limited income.

navy,

What is your age ?

You have to take action real quick for a SSA reconsideration.

What are the reason/s SSA gave for denial ?

How long has it been since you were employed ?

I am 43 will be 44 in three months. Does anyone have any lawyers to recommend?

They denied me because they said while I can't do the job I used to do (nursing) I could find gainful employment doing something else. I have not worked since June of 08.
