Berta
John - i always learn something new here and your post sure enlightened me. You are right as to the affected nerve groups. I need to look into the rating schedule on all that. This info you gave us could help many here to get the proper ratings for any nerve involvements like PN. THANKS!!!!!! GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University ! When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we." Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
retiredat44
I failed the test where you walk on your toes and heels.. my limbs are in pain, burning. weakness. I suffer from edema swelling, and of course I tremble and shake with tremors.. and cannot hold balance without the aide of a cane.. I cannot say the diagnosis until my c&p results are released. that why I am curious what symptoms people have.. and what they feel.. I sort of understand the diabetes (which they say I do not thave..),, as you can have loss of feeing, edema,,, etc.. how they assign it to 1,2,3,4 limbs.. that's where confusing starts... Edited August 16, 2010 by retiredat44 Not in appeals, since I got 100%, and some of it was winning an 1151 negligence, which the VA turns out does not give ful benefits if you win 1151 negligence they squirm and legal loophhole you and your family out of many benefits, really crapp nasty bunch running the va benefits, they wil backstab and scre wyou even if you win you lose. johnjjr
Chief, Did they rate you using the bilateral factor for the PN? SEMPER FI ONCE A MARINE, ALWAYS A MARINE
CHIEF915
Chief, Did they rate you using the bilateral factor for the PN? To be honest with you, I'm not sure. My letter stated 10% both upper extremities and 10% both lower extremities. the PN was added in with PTSD at the same time and took me up to 100% schedular P & T from 90%. So I never looked into the bilateral as I was at 100 now and happy.

HadIt.com Elder Philip Rogers Posted August 16, 2010 Author HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 16, 2010 I was curious cuz I've just been diagnosed w/PN, in both feet, and was trying to figure out if that'll raise my DB-II rating or if it will be a separate rating. pr
