I received my letter from the DAV indicating that I have been awarded a total rating of 80%.

50% PTSD

20% KNEES

60% - already rated

I feel that I have finally been vindicated. It has been a long, hard struggle. From the beginning when I was labeled a "liar", "Trouble maker" ,"whore". Thank God for my sister veterans who have held me up throughout these years, and thank God for this wonderful site. You all are not only my brother and sister veterans, you are my family.

Now, I will proudly get in line to hopefully help other veterans.

God bless you all.

top,

Good news for now -

this is the closest we as veterans can ever get to vindication

and validation.

Hell no, you were not a slut, a whore or just out asking for it !

Your pain is justified and I hope the perp rots in hell.

Check to see if you are now eligible for any additional benefits from your state.

How was the effective date they adjudicated ?

Carlie passed away in November 2015 she is missed.

Great job and congratulations. You did it.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
