Question

They ignored parts of my c&p exam and did not even reference my surgical records in their ssoc. I plan on immediate transfer to the Board of Veteran Appeals just to get out of that hole. I really need some contacts lawyer wise cause I am tired of the paper war and now I am eligible to use one with this denial.

Sorry to hear about the denial, 'caubulldog'.

I plan to use a lawyer when I receive my denial letter.

Best wishes,

C.B.

You can also contact one of the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates (NOVA) lawyers in the directory below:

You don't have to live near a vet lawyer to use them. They get your C-File and they do the work. You just have to show up for BVA Hearings or DRO Hearings. They will come to you. I think you will be much better off than using some VSO. If you don't win at BVA they will represent you at Court of Vet Appeals.

I used a NOVA lawyer and she won the case at the BVA level she was unusual in that she felt I needed a new IMO from another cardiologist and she paid the doctor for it and let me pay her when I got my back pay after the BVA Judge granted the claim and the VARO rated me and sent me the money about 3 months later, you don't find many lawyers that will put their own money on the line like that but that 4th IMO was the tipping point and provided a nexus that the Judge could not ignore mine was for cardiac claim that was secondary to my PTSD that was approved in Dec 2003 so she got me back pay for SMC S from Dec 2003 thru June 2009
