My Grand Father was gassed by Germans in WWI and always resented that he was not awarded purple heart.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

Have you ever thought of applying for the Purple Heart to the Army Board of Corrections, I think they can award posthumously.

Excerpt from the 'Declaration of Independence'

We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity

I've often thought they should introduce couple new ribbons, so we all can be included. I see the Orange Heart for every one that has AO related S/C & for all of us with the PTSD S/C we will get the Black Heart. That way most of us would have couple more ribbons to wear. Of course, I'm kidding, but that's what keeps me from taking all this too serious.

There are some changes that they probably need to make like those for TBI, but every time it comes up others are wanting Purple Hearts for about everthing under the sun. Know what I mean?

The Warrior's loyalty, then, and his sense of duty are to something beyond

and other than himself and his own concerns. The Hero's loyalty is... really

to himself - to impressing himself with himself and to impressing others. In

this connection, too, the man accessing the Warrior is ascetic. He lives a

life exactly the opposite of most human lives. He lives not to gratify his

personal needs and wishes or his physical appetites but to hone himself

into an efficient spiritual machine, trained to bear the unbearable in the

service of the transpersonal goal.
