Will This Delay My Claim?

Question

Hi All,

Tried to find an answer in here from earlier post before I presented this question... VA now has copies of my C&P results from the last chunk of exams which includes IU. I would like to have them so that I can try to figure out some possible options in the event that the examiners statements don't appear to be positive. I haven't worked in over a year and although I receive SSDI it does not come close to what my salary was... counting pennies now.

If I request copies of my C&Ps is it likely to slow the process even more?

If the C&P's were done at your VAMC - go in person to ROI

and request a copy. They will usually print it out on the spot.

2011, like Carlie says, go to the Release of Information Office, sign the release to request copies of your C&P's. Unlike Carlie, my requests were mailed within about a week. Should not slow down your claim.

My exams were done by VES; my VARO is more than 3 hours away... currently I am not using the VAMC, I know others with similar conditions as my own, and from their experiences, the local VAMC is going through some tough times, service is less than desirable.

Thanks for the prompt response; I will submit a FOIA request for the records.
