Dmii And Sleep Apnea

Rate this question

  • HadIt.com Elder

Is there a relationship between DMII and sleep apnea? I have read that those with DMII are three times as likely to get sleep apnea as those without DMII. Does this mean there is cause and effect relationship of just coincidence?

Some recent studies have suggested a link between DMII and Sleep Apnea John.

I guess it would take a strong independent medical opinion to SC Sleep apnea as secondary to DMII.

Often obesity is a reason dotors say one has sleep apnea, but diabetics often have weight problems directly due to their DMII so that argument could overcome that etiology.
