Gold Star Wives Day

In 2010 the President proclaimed April 5th 2012 as Gold Star Wives Day.

Our Motto is:

"United we stand---divided we fall---and are forgotten.”

Gold Star Wives,Inc aggressively seeks better legislation for surviving spouses of veterans dead due to their service. They also volunteer in countless other ways to he'p survivors deal with their loss and attain their proper VA benefits.

Gold Star Wives of America, Incorporated (GSW), founded in 1945, is a

Congressionally Chartered organization of widows and widowers of military members

who died while serving on active duty or as a result of a service-connected disability.

GSW is an all-volunteer organization encompassing approximately 10,000 members.”

I dont think we have many GSWs here but I urge any of you to join this group if you are in fact the widow OR Widower of a veteran, deceased due to their service.

Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
