tmoe
Hello everyone, can anyone give me any advice on getting coronary artery disease service connected. Short story of what happen I been having trouble with my legs since 79,doctor said it was my back,I had surgery on back in 2003 and still had pain in legs. 2011 in May I had a doppler test & find a blockage in the hip I had surgery in May to place a stent and since then i had four more stent and it is block again,so this make 5 surgery in a year for same thing. Now maybe a by-pass maybe the best option so the dr says. I am sc for 40% ddd, 20%radiculopathy both legs,20%carpal tunnel, 20% shoulder impingment, 30%mdd. I think I was miss diagnose with my conditions with the legs but what can I do?.I was not in Nam to relate it to AO. This could take me out and not sc for it and now a by-pass maybe. I take blood pressure meds but not sc and i did not have blood pressure problems until the back operation and pain meds I was taking. I just don't see no way out on this one CAN hadit elders or anyone give me any advice on this or how to proceed Thanks tmoe!
tmoe
Bertha,You are right- VA can do a Doppler of the arteries on the legs that might reveal PAD and it could save lives and further disability. If I only knew as much as I do now I could have save a (Fail back surgery sydrome) as they call it and three surgeries. It wasn't VA that done the surgeries but my private doctors decisions they never did the doppler until I ask in May 2011. Also its a good ideal to research your signs & systoms that you have & to research your sc disabilities to be better perpared for any type treatment and meds you are given. I believe this is what some doctors use in their treatment (google).
tmoe
A CT scan of your legs will show blockages. PAD is more serious than PN since a blockage in the leg can sometimes break loose and travel to the heart. Cramping in legs is a sign of PAD. john999, that why I'm scare as h*ll I don't want to do the surgery what are my chances without it?? I must have had this since 1979 and they medical discharge me with foot & leg pain because of flat feet period. Had this same problem until today you think it will last this long? that will put me at
