May 2012..... and four items were finished on October 4, 2012 to include IU. But then my claim was complete but not CLOSED? Instead another claim opened by Houston Varo was listed on ebenefits as Administrative Review. Well, today I get another (this is my third one) Big Brown envelope in the mail. And low and behold Houston did the right thing by me and awarded me SMC. It states "We granted entitlement to special monthly compensation effective January 28, 2011 because you are housebound." Here are the Reasons For Decision: Entitlement to special monthly compensation is warranted in this case because criteria regarding Housebound have been met on account of post traumatic stress disorder with major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder and alcohol abuse in sustained remission granted total evaluation based on individual unemployability and additional service-connected disabilitity(ies) of degenerative joint disease of lumber spine, degenerative disc disease of cervical spine, and radiculopathy of bilateral upper extremities, independently ratable at 60 percent or more from January 28, 2011.
