Will I be denied from the start on a TDIU claim if I don't have a single SCD rated atleast 40%? I'm combined 80% and the highest SCD I have is 30%. Thanks.

Not if you can present a solid case you can not hold down gainfull employment. If you would miss many days of work a mony say do to your health state that. If you have ever been fired or layed off due to your health state that. It may be tougher with do SCD 40% rating but if you can show you meet the criteria by not being able to work and showing that even having others that can vouch for that can give you approval for TDIU. The VA will deny you any way they can. You have to fight them tooth and nail. Have you put in for an increase, along with your TDIU claim? Or, yes, you can try extra schedular TDIU.
