Berta
I do not see use ,storage,or testing of AO at Goose Bay ,per this info from DOD as to where where AO was confirmed as used, stored or tested, outside of Vietnam: http://www.publichealth.va.gov/docs/agentorange/dod_herbicides_outside_vietnam.pdf AO compensation depends on proof of exposure and also having an AO presumptive disability. The AO presumptives are found here in our AO forum.
381sps
I was diagnosed with DB II , PCT over thirty years of dealing with this little number and no one could tell me what was wrong till I went to hematology this year and the PA seen the scaring on my arms and said she was testing me for PCT. Stage II liver disease, peripheral neuropathy of the upper extremities C/w diabetes II. I have three nodule's in my lungs they say I will have to have a CT every six months to keep and eye on them. Like I said never set foot in VN but have these problems I have seen articles where they did spray in Labrador but nothing says where and when seems to be the end of that. The reason I asked about Goose bay I was flight line security and the perimeter of the base was bare so many yards out and the missile sites I was at in Kansas not a weed in sight. fastestinthewest
Diabetes can cause increased risk of health with ramifications well beyond control. Many diabetic patients have bone and joint disorders. There is a Web site, including symptoms and treatment options, offered by The Mayo Clinic addressing diabetic health conditions. As many of you veterans know, you file for primary as diabetes and secondary then to these other health factors. Good luck... http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/diabetes/AN01072

I read that article you posted dsgsr and I could not believe that in the 60's this was going on. In the mid 60's I was playing baseball and basketball, cruzzin the dog and suds and having no idea in
