Leaving The Area

Question

I'm currently allocated to the ATL RO for my claim. I have since been awarded a transfer to Dallas, Tx I have until mid June to transfer my job. Is it feasible to move my claim to the new RO location? It's been in since 8/9 2011 no movement, no C&P, still gathering dust. Any help with how claims are moved or the timeline on Dallas area claims would be greatly appreciated. Also I have 7> claims and this in my initial claim. Bi-lateral: wrists, knees, ankles: low back, arthritis all in STRs; PTSD, neuropathy, tinnitus, hips all in VA treatment records since discharge. With the exception of one surgery I've never been treated or diagnosed with anything that was not diagnosed by the good ole department of veteran affairs. HOLLA

Thanks in Advance

God Bless

Yes you can transfer it to WACO VARO which is not much better than where you are. Welcome to Texas.

LOL thanks I guess. It's not a new place it's an old home LOL. Just returning. As long as someone can tell me I don't go back to ground zero it might be worth a chance.

You will not go back to ground zero but you may be delayed while Waco picks your claim up.

Be very, very sure everyone at the VA knows you have a new address.

thanks John, that won't be an issue as I will not change my address for the fear they will screw it up or use it to prolong my case even further unsure.png I looked at the statistics and decided where it is is where it will stay. If I have to make a trip for C&P then so be it. I really don't want any more excuses from them. Besides if you've been watching the news we're on FIRE down here in Hotlanta. So maybe some more smoke will become ablaze.

thanks for the info

God Bless

When I moved, I went to the Los Angeles VAMC records department and got a copy of all my medical records. I moved to Arkansas. I hand carried them to the VAMC Fayetteville Arkansas, records department and had them entered into record there.
