I guess I got lucky with my request. It took less than a month from the time I mailed the FOIA request to get my C-file. Actually like 10 days after I mailed the request. That's not typical and I asked for my c file from the Muskogee Regional office in OK.

You can also make an appointment to view the contents of your c-file, but those can take a while too.

I found that most, but not all of my SMR's were in my c-file. I won my claim by submitting the missing SMR pages.
