Call From Varo Good Or Bad

Rate this question

Question

Good morning Vets. I have a quick question. I received a call Saturday about my increase claim, from a VA rep. O found it odd that they would call on the weekend. My claim went from Gathering Evidence to Pending Decision Approval on the 31 July. It's been in Gathering Evidence since February. So I'm wondering if a call is a good thing or bad thing?

Thanks in advance.

The VA calls people on the weekends because the VA benefits department as far as RVSR,VSR,CA are all on Mandatory overtime. Let me give everyone insight on this. I am a VSR so we and RVSR have 20 hours mandatory overtime this past year and last year and CA have 10. The problem is this when you put mandatory overtime on good workers, you wear them out and it has a better chance for them to make unfavorable decisions. I think the solution should be more vets hired to tackle this huge issue. Sorry about all this info but I feel everyone should know the truth on why things are taking so long on their claims. It is totally unfair and unethical because they know it is a problem but instead they do this instead and make hard working VA workers do overtime. This is why you would get a phone call on weekends because a lot of them work 10 hours on Saturday along with their regular 40 hours during the week. PLEASE LET CONGRESS KNOW ABOUT THIS AND EXPRESS YOUR CONCERNS. WE ALL DESERVE FAIR DECISIONS FROM RESTED MINDS OF THOSE THAT ARE ADJUDICATING YOUR CLAIMS AND MINE AS WELL. GOOD DAY....
