gets a website block

Having excellent PC security is worth every penny it costs.

I still wonder why another widow and myself were on line here at the same time and we both got hit with malware which our security immediately quaranteed.and removed ,yet it didnt affect anyone else here.

It depends on how the malware works, as well as security settings and "realtime" protections.

A particuliarly nasty one got into one of my desktops running win 8.

Turned out that I had inadvertantly clicked on something in an email that was spoofing another email source.

The malware replicated itself multiple times when it first ran. The antimalware software could detect and remove,

but did not see the inactive duplicates.

One of the other hazards usually is related to JAVA scripts, which are quite common.
