Berta
As a retiree you might well be eligible for either the CRSC or the CRDP program. I assume they (the Mil) had briefings on that when you mustered out... If uyou google those terms, CRDP and CRSC hadit.com ,a lot of info here will pop up.... GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University ! When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we." Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.

georgiapapa
highoctane, Congratulations on your award and good luck on your appeals. Your effective date was the day you retired which just happened to be the COLA date for VA and also the date of your last pay raise. highoctane
Thanks. Although I'm not too happy right now. My heart disease was denied because of no clinical diagnosis!! Half of my medical record is related to my hear disease and its treatment. It's literally baffling how they could have screwed that up. I guess I've had stents placed twice and insurance paid for both times because I have perfectly healthy coronary arteries.
