0 HadIt.com Elder Chuck75 Posted April 8, 2015 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted April 8, 2015 That's news to me also! But, with the VA virtually anything is possible in isolated cases or trial cases. It might be part of the SMC A&A benefits concerning home adaptation.
0 babyray
Let me add something. I started this post on 4/7/15. I went to my prosthetic dept in New Orleans and asked them about the life alert system. They told me that the VA supplied veterans with this system so get a consult to us from your PCP. I did and I got my freedom alert system from LogicMark last week with no monitoring fees. Yes, VA Medical will get you one. I hope this help the veterans who need one of these. georgiapapa, Buck52 and Jerrel

0 jefmil50
My physical and occupational therapist from the SCI clinic ordered me an alert system a year ago. It has already come in handy a few times. I have it set to call friends and family only. I am afraid to have it call 911 by mistake too many times. It is not the subscription type system though but works just as good.
