Jul. 2, 2015: The GAO issued a report --- No. GAO-15-464, VA Can Better Ensure Unemployability Decisions are Well Supported

Congressional Budget committee has propose some changes to TDIU claims that my

help in some ways but hurt in others. Page 28-35 has the recommendations if you don't want to read

all of it.

discontinue when you reach retirement age 65-67 to your rating which is say 70%

from 100% is a big cut in my check hope they don't follow that one

lowering the percentage to 60% an way you get it will help I think

the study says vets are living longer now so they have to pay us longer at 100%

costing money because if you are 80 years young you cant work any way so why

pay us 100%. And these suggestion come from the ones we put in office.

I agree they need some guide or need something to find a way to approve

a person for TDIU because any rater can look at a claim and all can

get a different decision and if you read the entire thing they do one can approve

a TDIU and another rater looking at the same gets another denial of TDIU

it got to be a way

Thanks for the info bud, and as usual, can there be improvements yes, but not at the expense of Hurt Vets that deserve whatever money and benefits that we get, and should never be taken away.
