Berta
I sure have not seen some sudden increase in VA decisions here...and we represent a good microcosm of claimants nationwide ,I think.Maybe this is why my RO director tried to tell me my CUE claim was "over" a few months ago . I jumped on her for that.I had filed a timely NOD that she 'forgot' about. It is still in progress and hopefully they are getting a General Counsel Opinion that I requested, to explain the specific regulations that involve my claim.I think every claimant here needs to keep a good eye on the status of their pending issues. And dont let them try to manipulate your NOD date as they tried to do to me...NOD date Oct 2012 and they tried to change it to April 2015..(In email from the Director) .if they do this to many other claimants as well, they have successfully ' reduced' the backlog by manipulating our NOD filing dates. GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University ! When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we." Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
FormerMember
It moved me to write about it. https://asknod.wordpress.com/2015/08/26/lz-cork-va-runs-the-table-on-butch-46-years-later/I started getting hits from VA's Vantage Point. It must be a good view from there. https://asknod.wordpress.com/2015/08/28/va-vantage-point-pleas-excuse-our-censorship-construction-in-progress/
