ArNG11
4 hours ago, Gastone said: What has your VA Specialist RX'd for the problem? I've had (2) different VA Dr's write RX,s for non VA Formulary Meds, based on either adverse side-effects or the drugs failure to deliver the necessary result. The VA Pharmacist signs off on the RX and you receive it in the mail, same as your other meds. I haven't had your problem since surgery in 06, Vasaleen and a rubber glove was all I had. Thank God for the Vasaleen. Good thing I love prunes, have kept me right since. Sometimes, a Tight Axx, while being nice to look on the opposite sex, can be a pain to have. Semper Fi Wow. But funny. Give new meaning to that phrase. Mr. A " FIGHT TILL YOUR LAST BREATH "
ArNG11
Incidentally, there was a medication, or rather a supplement that my private gastro doc had me try. I believed it was called Enteragam. Might be worth a look see. When I was given samples that medication worked. Keep in mind different people's inert workings and other medications do have their role to play. Could always ask to go the Mobi-prep route, which to me sounds worrisome to say the least. I have been doing real well with splitting the sennaca dose in half through out the day. Still I watch my fiber and probiotic intake. Just have to go with what works with your body chemistry and especially under the advice of the gastro specialist. HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted March 2, 2016 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted March 2, 2016 LOL @ Gastone. Taking Opioids can and will stop you up, I find by not taking in lots of dairy products helps a lot & eat more green veggies, protein and fiber. you might ask your Dr if he/she can give you those packets that you mix up and take the night before you have a colostomy ...that sux but it will clean you out . and then watch your diet. jmo ...................Buck ArNG11 1 I am not an Attorney or VSO, any advice I provide is not to be construed as legal advice, therefore not to be held out for liable BUCK!!!
