The VA, in it’s effort to let veterans and the public know how they are implementing this Act, is publishing an ongoing  list of info on employees they

have already taken adverse action against.

 

3 pages, many demotions already...the link to the first report is in the Press release above.

This is the new VA Accountability Act in action.......as promised by POTUS and The Secretary.

VA friend asked me for  what  these acronyms in the report stand for :

NCA                    National Cemetery Association

OCLA                       Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs

OGC                Office of General Counsel

Some of the backdates in the report on the right hand side are probably incompetent employees who were having the AFGE or MBPS fight for them..not sure ...but due to the new Accountability Act, they have been 

FIRED !!!!!

Berta, I go to the Phoenix, Az., facility, and I understand that the former director Sharon Helman who was fired, is trying to get her job back.  This is the "dirt bag" that falsified the wait times of veterans, and over 60 died as a result.  She also fired several whistle blowers, to cover up her scam.  This is when the "shit really hit the fan" with the cover up, and the government started looking into V.A. problems.   I have called Trump's hotline twice, telling them on no uncertain term does this louse , ever enter the doors of a V.A. facility.  Before this bill was signed, she was "pretty smug", and stated that she would get her job back.  I will call Trump and Shulkin  every hour on the hour if I find out she is getting rehired for any job at the V.A.  What went on at the V.A. under her watch was horrible beyond belief.   I am a pretty peaceful guy, but I hate to think what would happen if I confronted at the Phoenix V.A.  It would not be a pretty picture, for her that's for sure.

Yeah, she still is fighting for her job. Helman is in VISN# 22.

It looks to me that they are going through each VISN by number.

Over 700 names on the list I got Friday...and they promised to update the list weekly.

It will be interesting how the VA handles her situation.

She is still in the appeal process.Then again many of the 700 were too, until June 23, 2017.

An automated program sends an 21-0538 to your address of record every eight years.

Here's the procedure: M21-1, Part III, Subpart iii, Chapter 5, Section K - Verification of Marital Status and the Status of Dependents

They've changed it recently to stop dependency payment, then form a debt back to your last verified dependency form.

Regulation or not, you'd better send them what they want.

Veterans/dependents/survivors DO pass away, get divorced etc. Instead of having eight years of debt, without the verif, a Veteran could have 20- or more.

It doesn't appear people looked at the list closely, but Bronco is rightfully critical to dismissive- for excellent reasons. (please no offense meant to others)

The problem is the people in charge, not nursing assistants and phone agents. It doesn't matter if Chuck Norris is in charge, and they give a list like the LA phone book as their 'accountability roster!'

McDonald was similar to Shinseki.  Remember, Shinseki was going to eliminate the backlog, and eliminate VEteran homelessness by, what was it, 2012?  Big Promises, and no delivering on any of them.
