Question

I have been out for a while with breathing and brain issues, which left me scared and shaken. I am getting treatment for both but, still nervous and lost without words about the two issues was brought up over 15 years ago. I would appreciate all help to see if I am receiving the correct SMC monthly benefits

Frankly, this is hard to read for me.  (I need Cadillac Surgery.   Not to be confused with cataract surgury, where one sacrifices their nice car to get their surgery for eyes covered by the doctor bills).

However, there is much more than what a decision says.   Yes you can get statuatory SMC's. but do you have "loss of use"?

Rather than reinvent the wheel, please see this article to see if you should get more SMC:

Bronco thanks for sharing this link, I guess I never really understood how SMCs worked. If I understand correctly If I qualified for SMC S it don't get double of what 100% pay scale.

I am always finding new information on this site.

I am not an attorney or an a credited VA rep. These are my personal opinions and experiences, always remember what worked for me may not work for you.

You as the veteran are your own best advocate and no one knows your disabilities better than you. It is highly recommended that you as the veteran research and verify that any opinion given meets your specific situation.
