Back and Forth

Question

I had multiple claims combined into one. The one claim has been in the system for months. I had it go into "Preperation for Decision" and back into "Pending Decision approval" multiple times yesterday. After work I called my VSO and they let me know that it had been decided, 100% P&T outcome. Hooray right? Check this morning and it is back to "Prep  for Decision." Any insight is appreciated.

@HavokDiv, I have experience with it bouncing, especially if your case is at the BVA.  They have clerks that assemble data for a decision.  When the clerk thinks they have all of the information they submit it to the BVA lawyer.  If he has questions or wants more information it goes back to the clerk and then back to the BVA lawyer.  This can go on for many weeks.

Thanks for that. So do you have a specific answer or experience with it bouncing between the two?

Yes, I have had several claims over the years. It could be a profound amount of different things that we will never get to see!

It could beeee-----an error of the IT department, a decision by a reviewer who wanted a last minute glance before getting pulled into the big boss's office for  a scolding on granting so many claims

it could be, it could be......You're gonna have to wait and see is the only thing left to do, unless you WANT to submit new and material evidence now and slam your claim back into snail mode while theyrepopulate the info of your claim, scour through it, and assess the new information and how it contrasts with the latter.

Bwuk.
