I was looking at Ebenefits under the 'disabilities' section, and I noticed that, with CPAP, my Sleep Apnea rating is listed as 20% rather than the expected 50. I had to appeal my sleep apnea 1 time to get SC. Has anyone ever seen this? It looks like it is numerically at 20, but they paying it at 50? Misprint?

This is about 5 yrs old. I can't correct it. Its already set, the effective date was correct the first time. How would it affect them later?

When did you start use of the cpap, OR, when did your doctor say the cpap was medically necessary?

That may explain this discrepency

From the beginning- I walked out of the sleep study with a Resmed.

Yeah, its Ebenefits, who knows. I just wonder what my overall calculation is, now, minus the 100%. 20 vs 50 is a bit of a jump/drop if you take the 100% out of the picture. Im 5 years into that one and P/T according to my last code sheet, but it was on my mind, so I checked.

I really shouldnt do that, now my brain is turning....
