The va hospital is 15 min away smh. So it took them a month to get appoint with the place that does ssi claim exam. I don't like this it seem alot of veteran are get bad exams adding years of appeal time I don't understand the va hospital has ever specialist and has treated most of us all our disabled life. To me this seem like a step to getting rid of the va health system. And to denied more veterans
0 Fat
The issue of the exams should be simple. Qualified professional with expertise in the claimed area. In addition, all past and current medical information has to be present for correct conclusion. However, you get some C&P examiners whom are outstanding/ thorough and then some who aren't. Vets, try to make sure all paperwork (VA records or private medical records) are uploaded/scanned before the C&P.
0 Mr cue
When comp exam were done at the va hospital. You seen specialist for your comp exam. Like a neurologist. Now many of the comp exam order by this contracting company. Are just done by anybody. I add more time to are claims and I am also seeing alot of reduction of ratings after these new comp exam. I could just be me tho

0 Mr cue
Yes I had some done by np but I never had to travel far or deal with a company that has no ideal how to do a va comp exam. I am see veterans get 3 exams for same thing it's seem like a mess to me. Why move va exam from the hospital just make no sense. What next close the va hospital and contract services. I have had bad (incompetent) exams done by both QTC and VA examiners, and also great exams done by both. For me, going to the VA CP exam site is a 3 hour drive each way. I would much rather have my exam done by a qualified examiner closer to where I live..
0 HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted April 29, 2021 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted April 29, 2021 When you go for these C&P exams you are rolling the dice. I have had such incompetent exams done at the VA by some nurse/doctor. I had a great exam done recently by a contract doctor. If pays your money and you takes your chances. Just be a persistent bastard and you win in the end if you call being disabled winning. I do if I get compensated for it. blahsaysme2u
