C&P Exam for increase for SC Narcolepsy via web cam

Question

So i submitted FDC last week and received an C&P exam for the 10th of march,  does anyone know what the doctor might ask me?   I sent in 2 buddy letters 1 spouse letter, 2 different letters from my two neurologist, 3 different sleep Polysomnograms and 2 Multiple Sleep Latency test and all the different types of medication I've taken.  I'm just trying to figure what all the Dr. can ask me that isn't in all my 300 pages of medical record for Narcolepsy.  If anyone has been through this and if so would you care to share some of the things that might be asked.   Thank you in advance for the help.

Wow I just checked and the Dr. Is in South Carolina and he is a sports medicine  Dr.   Why would you have a Dr like him exam a patience with Narcolepsy that's so  crazy

All I know is there's a definite difference between radiculopathy and neurological problems. It seems to me that a sports medicine doctor is more apt to deal with pinched nerve problems, but not neurological problems. I have radiculopathy, and I saw two neuro specialists and they ruled out neurological conditions, both saying (in essence) that my problems are musculoskeletal.  Perhaps the request for a C&P with a sports medicine doctor is misplaced? If it were me, I would call 1-800-Peggy and tell them it was the wrong C&P. Just tell them. They'll figure it out.  If it were me, I would upload correspondence to VA.gov as well, concerning this particular claim of yours and the C&P you think has little applicability.

Request a copy of the completed C&P result from 1-800-Peggy.

My C&Ps, in my claim for increases, have been through an outfit called VES (Veterans Evaluation Services) and they will provide the examiner's credentials upon request. Do that.

i thought about that but wouldn't that be better to go to the web exam and if its denied i a better cause to appeal the results due to the Dr's credentials?

I thought about that too. Because right now I don't know if my C&P was favorable or not. All I can do is wait. I guess maybe you should too. Hard to say.

I would go to the exam. Never refuse an exam. It could bite you.

Your examiner may ask you if you have any questions. If you are following along with your blank dbq pertaining to your exam, you can identify that he isn't following the dbq. You can mention that on the spot.

Also you can ask him if his qualifications.

Do not argue with him. Just make your notes. If you have a rep, inform your rep on how your exam went.

Wait and see if the exam is in your favor. If so, leave it alone .

On the other hand, if not, I would challenge it

One of the questions should be is how can an examiner examine you where as to you live in Ga and the examiner is licensed in SC.

I do not know the answer to that but I do know that is that they must be licensed in the state that they are practicing in. I could be wrong.

By all means get to the exam-and these guys are right-

If the examiner says he read your VA records, C file etc,  I assume he also would read the other great evidence they had from you-and it might really go OK.

Whodat made a good point:

"I do not know the answer to that but I do know that is that they must be licensed in the state that they are practicing in. I could be wrong."

This is a tele- med Web cam exam--maybe telemedicine changed all that.

Also, you can ask him if his qualifications.

I would not ask him his credentials because this could offend him and give you a negative exam.

Keep in mind when searching for a medical doctor's credentials always put first name, middle initial then last name. If you do that in your search bar you should find several.

I always ask the examiner why did the VA schedule the C & P exam when I already had a medical opinion from my VAMC doctor?
