Jim - why did you apply for SSDI? Is it a valid claim? If your medical condition stipulates that you are not capable of working because of disabilities (doctor suggested SSDI) then you have nothing to worry about. What's your gut tell you? Ask yourself - with all the evidence you have - would you award SSDI?

I feel it is valid. I have had a heart attack and 2 open heart surgeries. The second surgery damaged nerves in my chest and I have been on a morphine patch for 2 years.

Jim-you might want to contact ALLSUP, Inc. they are disabiltiy specialists who deal with SSA claims- for a fee they represent the claims they accept- they can assess your claim right at their site I believe-

They have a 97% success rate on SSA claims that they handle.

I dint know what their acceptance criteria is- but it might pay to check them out- there is a link at hadit to their web site.

Jim - are you service connected for your heart - if so does the request for ssdi have this evidence? Is it the medication that hold you back from being employed? What about a doctors statement?
