After Appeal C&P Exam Timeline
Hey all, I recently found this site and I have searched everywhere on these questions (which may have been posed, but I could not find it). I am a OIF Infantry Marine veteran that has been in the appeal process for 5 years now and I had my appeal appointment to get checked out again this past summer. My question was basically what is the average timelime after the "recheck" appointment to get some sort of decision back? I have called the VA benefits customer service numerous times in the past 4 months and my appeal has been stuck at my regional office since. My ebenefits says this "Your appeal has been sent back for further development by the Board to the Appeals Manage…

Glasses
Drove 120 miles for eye exam and a month later new glasses came..not a ble to use. Contacted VA and they called ny wife and said they will send a new left lense they got wrong. I should take it to Costco to get it replaced. Here is my reply; This is my reply to the VA for my galasses they screwed up and sent to me. What the hell? Recieved a call today that my left lense is wrong and that a new lense will be shipped to me and that Costco would change This is unacceptable, it is NOT Costco's job to fix the VA mistakes. I drove 120 miles for this exam and glasses as required by the VA. The very least they can do is their job and send me glasses thart fit my prescription.…

Schedular or IU
I just heard I am getting 100%. However, I got a SSOC that says denial of IU but moot after a certain date because I would be getting the 100% after this certain date. When I go to Ebenefits it shows 100% and the letter generator says Total and Permanent with the yes next to it. But no where does it say no more exams required. Does this phrase come up anymore on the letters or was this the old way? Am I getting 100% scheduler P&T no further exams? Any clarity would be helpful

I think I am going to need help after all!!!
I became disabled in 1997. It never dawned on me to file with the VA for compensation. I filed with Social Security and was approved. For years I have struggled on get getting by with my family at times. Then recently when things got real bad a friend said I should go see the VSO in our city. Maybe I could get some help from them. So I did and come to find out there was a Veterans program in the state that helps out disabled Vets. He also suggested that I file for a service related disability claim. He gave me the paper work, I filled it out and he sent it in. I really didn't think much would come of it since so much time had passed and just figured the Navy would…

Anyone seen this on Ebenefits?
My appeal was first showing a completion date from 7/15 - 12/15 and now I just checked and it says " at this time your local VA regional office can not provide a completion date for this type of claim at this time". Has anyone ever seen this before on Ebenefits for an appeal? I was getting excited knowing my appeal would be done by the end of the year. It is a DRO review appeal! Thanks Bob

What Does "case Review" Mean?
I filed an FDC Jan 2015 in Winston-Salem NC, shortly after I received a letter that it was converted into a normal claim for some reason. I was surprised by this since I had given them everything they needed, and I just had a C&P for another claim a few months ago that was finalized. The estimated completion date for my new claim was September 2015, all was fine. 7 months later....... for two days out of this week, my claim made it to preparation for decision, but it has since gone back to gathering of evidence. I chatted with Peggy and was told "It shows it is a case review, which means that team needed to look at or correct something." Now the estimated completi…

Anyone Else Notice EBenefits Mobile Rerouted?
I was wondering if anyone else noticed that over the weekend they took the mobile Ebenefits site down and rerouted the connection to the regular site? Sad as it had more complete information, hopefully this is temporary.

ptsd majortom
Had my C&P for PTSD on Sep.30th. Three days later I read the results on My Healthy Vet, in which the Va Dr. physc. said I had service connected ptsd. I checked EBenefits and sure enough my claim was in prep for decision with est. date of completion of 11/23/15 to 12/27/15. Now I see on ebennies it says "At this time, your Regional Office is unable to provide an estimated completion date for this type of claim"?? WTH

Question About A Recent Fdc
I am 90% combined for a multitude of things. I applied in Jan 2015 and was awarded June 2015. On the advice of my C&P examiner, I filed a secondary claim for other conditions. Basically, the examiner said "why didn't you file for xxx and xxx? Your medical records certainly support that." So, shortly after the award in June 2015, I filed another claim, this time a FDC. I logged onto ebenefits on Friday to help my brother answer a couple of questions he was having prior to his C&P appts about the same time (on Friday). I was "pleasantly surprised" to notice that my claim had moved from "gathering evidence" to "preparation for decision" with a note of "develop…

Fibromyalgia highest ratings
Does anyone know the highest rating you can receive for Fibromyalgia? I have 40% and want it higher. I know Gulf War Vets do not have to prove this condition but I was just prior to the dates of that.
