Will I Get All Of My Back-pay Or A Small Amount Of It Each Month?
I've been approved for 100% disability since May. Someone has already came to the house to interview me and my mother (she is going to handle the money) and the only thing left to wait for is for the check to be made and signed. Probably only another year or so, but that's not my concern anymore... My issue is back-pay. I was told that I will not recieve the full amount of back-pay, but probably only $500-$1,000 a month, along with my $2,400 pension. Is this true?? Also, can the VA contact MVA and suspend my license due to my disability? My license was mysteriously suspended and now I have to prove to the MVA that I am able to drive by getting a VA doctor to write…

ptsd Tdiu
I'm currently rated at 80% mostly due to the help by this site and sixthsense. My ratings are; 30% PTSD with major depression 30% Max sinusitis 10% right knee (0% left knee) 10% Tinnitus 10% C-spine 10% Lumbar % T-spine 10% TMD/TMJ (Bi-lateral) 0% headaches Presently extraschedular requirements for TDIU dictate at least a 40% rating among one of your ratings. USC Title 38, Chapter 1, Part 4, subpara's 4.15 and 4.8 goes on to read that there may be some room to negotiate 100% TDIU by extraschedular if there are substantial issues with "one single major body system". I went from working a desk job ($27,000) that was getting to me mentally assisting other …

Claims Back Log? Just Look At Vba Decisions
I just did a search on my VARO to see what the VBA was doing with the claims that had been appealed. It is easy to see why there is a backlog within the system. Plain idiots that is why. Of the first 6 pages from 2007 that I reviewed ALL of the claims had been remanded reasons were: failure of the RO to obtain evidence - a majority of these were VA records held by a VAMC which is about 200 yards from the RO and the evidence had been identified by the veteran in previous statements. missing evidence from the claims file failure of the RO to obtain C&P exams failure of the RO to force the VAMC to obtain an adequate C&P exam (the need for an adequate exam …

Va New Fugitive Felon Program
Recently I learned I had a warrant out of Florida. I had never been arrested or even had a ticket there or anywhere for that matter, so I was surprised when I received a letter from the VA stating they would be cutting off my benefits unless I could show the warrant had been cleared but that they would still charge me an overpayment beginning from the date the warrant was placed against me which was 06-12-2006 until the date the warrant was cleared 12-14-07, so the amount will be about $70,000 according to the amount I receive every month. This also stops medical, pharmacy, insurance and any other benefit one may receive from the VA. I began researching this new law …

tdiu Does Filing For Unemployability Slow Down A Ratings Decision?
I am presently getting 40% for degenerative disk disease and I have a claim for secondary conditions that has been in ratings since May. I was told I could file for unemployability but it would further delay the claim already in ratings. Should I wait for a rating decision or file now? Thanks, John

I will have Dana Morgan, a USMC Vietnam Veteran and current President of Point Man International Ministries (PMIM) as my Guest. It will be a 1.5 hour call-in Talk Show. The entire purpose of SVR is to reach out to our Nation's active duty personnel, veterans, family members and friends with lay answers to how we have dealt with life following our experiences in the military. I recall coming home from Vietnam with tons of pain, grief and callousness.…

Sexual Harrassment
How does one go to prove this occurred if there is no record of MST. Say that someone was physically acosted but not raped. That person told someone else and convinced you to go to your OIC. You went to your OIC and they said he is retiring in a few months this could ruin his career. So you agree to do nothing. Then this person starts to assign you to crap jobs, KP, NCIOC school etc, you go on leave and come back and find out you have been reassigned and your career goes down hill from there. If your only proof is those 2 people and you can't find them is it a lost cause?
