lumbosacral Berta...i Need Your Advice On This.
Hi Berta! I made a shocking discovery.. Many years ago, I remember filing a claim regarding my Heart Murmur. At that time, I was told that it wasn't service connected. Well, lets see, I have been placed in the Independent Living Program, and one thing that I had to do, is get permission from my primary care physician to be able to join a gym. Now, when I received the form that I needed to give to my doctor, in the mail and opened it, I was shocked at what I read. The VA had listed the following things: Code % SC Description 9434 50 Y Major Depression Disorder 7319 30 Y Irritable Colon 5237 0 N Lumbosacral or cervical strain 6513 0 N Sinusitis 6602 0 N…

Cnn
Mike Davis- Vietnam Combat Veterans, ltd- just called me and is calling everyone he can to get civilians to be sure to watch the replay of this show. Apparnently they are re-running it at 8 PM EST on CNN- The shows video is also available at Watchdog. (I think they should have read some satistics on how long claims are really taking and why- and the show was done before the Pentagon's figures on TBIs in returning men and women from Iraq-(Traumatic Brain Injury)were found to be way too low. TBI symptoms could be confused with personality disorder- maybe that is why so many PD diagnoses are being dished out to these new vets-and can cause a myriad of symptoms.Any…

Wrong Dignosis Listed
In my initial claim for cancer of the throat ,VA sent me a notice saying they were considering my claim for lung cancer. A week later i get another one saying throat cancer. The decision came with no mention of lung cancer. Thought it might have been a mistake. On my claim for increase , in two different places they mention a service connected miglignancy in your lung. They go on to say " No lung miligancy has been confirmed by the evidence of record." A few weeks after I was hospitalised for stroke, this one doctor came ih and wanted to stick a needle through my chest into my lung to take a sample. At first i said ok ! After laying there and thinking on it a while…

Can You Hold A Job Until The Va Rates You And Still Get 100% Mental?
Hi, just wondering can you work and get 100% for anxiety/panic. My problem is, I'm only 26 and I looked into SSDI and since I'm young I would only get $900 a month. I have really bad anxiety and panic symptoms, keeping me from work. I haven't worked since july of 2006. My symptoms are getting bad, but at the same time I really have to get some money, Is it possible to explain to the VA, that your forcing yourself to work until you get a higher rating. It's kind of like a catch 22 right now. I need to get money, but really don't think I can work, but at the same time will have to force myself past the symptoms because so I can get money, just until a higher rating comes in…

H.r. 1110
This may be of interest to military retirees and federal retirees. H.R. 1110 is pending in Congress and this piece of legislation would allow both groups of retirees to have the same benefit as active federal employees. Active federal employees do not have their insurance costs count as income when income tax time comes around. This will give retirees the same benefit and they will also save money at income tax time. Hope you can open the website. 68mustang http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d110:h.r.01110:

diabetes War On Veterans Affairs + Neurological Damages
War on Veterans Affairs + Neurological damages http://www.2ndbattalion94thartillery.com/Chas/waronVA1.htm Kelley War on the VA? We have tried everything in the world we could to get the media to report what CNN found and actually reported. I thank them for that. Wrong doing by the VACEH, the ridiculous conclusions by IOM, and even the fatally flawed government contracted scientific studies themselves; all to no avail. The media itself seems to be scared to death of the truth and the facts. CNN stepped up when other cable outlets such as FOX did not and will not. Lord knows you and I have sent them plenty of ammo that has fallen on…
