Bay Pines Vamc, Lost Med/psyc. Records
hey folks, on oct.9th, requested release of info office send 30days of med/psyc. records to my VSO @ the Regional Office[150yds away]. they sent them out oct.17th,2007 and my VSO never got them,to this date.. I filed a ftca 95 immediately, after the privacy officer told me too go to the release office and get "new ones",and hand carry them yourself over there..I said, "What do you think these records are, business cards!" The tort is for--violation of the Privacy Act 1974[failure to maintain and secure] and the VA "information and security act 2006"[breach of duty}.The Supreme Court ruled,[jaffee vs. redmond 1996]that the psycotherapist-patient priviledge[confidentiality a…

I am assisting my father in his claim with asbestiosis as well as many other service connected conditions and they are giving him such a run around. He called back a few weeks later was told that his claim was back at the Board and that he did not even need a C&P since he had so much information. Then he calls back Sept 07 he was told he needed a C&P and one was scheduled for him. He went to that appointment and waited…

Pete (T-bird), In reply to your post Oct 30th in the "Replying to Service Connection" thread where you stated you thought we had 4 buttons on the right, one of which was a delete button: The 3 buttons that show on the right of my posts are: edit, multi, reply but no delete. I know I used to be able to delete my posts, which was helpful in the past since I could delete posts I'd made during manic episodes that were pretty much gibberish. I wish we still had the ability to delete posts but I don't see that function on my posts any longer. Perhaps only moderators can delete posts. Do we have to have a certain number of posts to delete our own posts or is this a m…
