Widow Denied C File
I got a letter from the Kansas Military Archive Records that "your request cannot be honored; this request must come directly from the VA"; is that correct? I thought the vet or the widow of entitlement could request a copy via the proper form 3288 (which I did). Anybody had this happen to them? Judy

Link To Hearing Test Graph For Bilateral Hearing Loss
Get an IMO from an Audiologist and compare the graphs as on this site with your test graphs and also your numbers with the sites to get the rest of the story on your hearing loss and why, if you denial decision states that your hearing loss was not due to acoustical trauma. I have a 95 in the right and a 95 in the left ear at 4000 with the notch just like the graph. What a deal!!! I wonder what happened. http://www.discountvalley.com/Hearing_Arti...g_audiogram.htm Danang_1969

Hope Rides Alone
Greetings, I just felt led to post this letter I received from a good friend currently in Iraq. This letter is from a brother in arms who was killed in IRAQ. SGT. Edmund John Jeffer's last few words were some of the most touching, inspiring and most truthful words spoken since the tragedy of 9/11 - and since our nation went to war. > > SGT. Jeffers was a strong soldier and talented writer. He died in Iraq on September 19, 2007. He was a loving husband, brother and son. His service was more than this country could ever grasp - but the least you can do for the man who sacrificed his life for you ... is listen to what he had to say. > > Listen…

I have a high school friend that I grew up with and he is now in bad health as is myself. He has a SC claim in on the type 2 for awhile. My friend asked for and inquiry from his state senator's office and they him a letter saying that all Agent orange claims were on hold until after the lawsuit against the VA was over. Bank Of America
One bank I use is Bank of America. I just recently found out, while making a rather large withdrawl (at a different branch than usual), that Bank of America does not accept a VA Disabled Veteran ID card with your photo on it, as Identification. The branch manager told me that the cards are too easy to forge. I think this sucks and wonder if other vets have this problem. carlie
