I was granted my Motion for Reconsideration of a BVA Decision, which I'm told doesn't happen very often. Does anyone know what my chances are that the OBVIOUS ERRORS found by the RECONSIDERATION Panel will get corrected????

ptsd Aggravation Of Nsc Is Sc
I am working on a local claim involving "Aggravation"of a NSC conditionby an SC condition. I sure do not mind repeating this info- there is more on this in my past posts- it is often overlooked as a potential means to service connection. "Consequently, because the Board finds that the preponderance of the evidence supports the conclusion that the veteran’s cardiovascular disease was aggravated by his service-connected PTSD, service connection is warranted under 38 C.F.R. § 3.310(a) and Allen." ORDER Service connection for cardiovascular disability is granted. http://www.va.gov/vetapp98/files2/9813272.txt The veteran had significant priva…

tinnitus Va C And P Claim For Tinnitus
I filed for hearing loss and Tinnitus in 2002. I was denied twice. The claim is due to go back to BVA in about a month. I have a statement from a civilian ENT doc saying "it is as likely as not my current condition results from noise exposure in the service." According to the Va the hearing loss is not bad enough but after doing some research on Tinnitus it looks like I might have a chance there. The VA C & P audiologist says I "have a moderate high-frequency hearing loss", bilaterally. She goes on to say "In my clinical opinion, it is at least as likely as not that the veteran's hearing loss was caused/aggravated by his noise exposure while in service. Moreover, it …

Poa (nysdva) Lost
I cannot stress enough that you MUST send to VARO ALL you send to your POA. This was a NOD on decision I only had a few days left to file on- I had filed a prior reconsideration request that they say they are working on- Still a reconsideration request of a decision does NOT stop the NOD clock. This NOD was on two decisions regarding two CUE claims I had that I would not have needed to file if the POA had advised me to file a NOD on 2 prior decisions. I have the complete record of these meetings-from the POA-as to being there and discussing the decision- the rep knew the decision was wrong-but I only wondered why he questioned it and didnt advise any furthe…

Appointment To See C-file
I have an appointment to see my husband's c-file this month (july 27) at the Chicago Regional Office. Yippie! At least I will be able to LOOK at his discharge physical - and hopefully request a copy of it. (We have been requesting his c-file for over a year - and sent in specific "limited requests" for his discharge physical --as some info suggests that a limited request can be expediated --but that apparently wasn't the case). I know several people have posted very positive experiences in viewing the c-file - and the VA advising them on what else they needed to send to make the case (specifically). I also read jangrin's posts about how she wasn't allowed to t…
