Old Treatment Originally Reated As Nsc
I thought I'd posted this before but can't find it on the forum. I was treated in '81 for a sprained wrist and in '85 for a painful elbow. One visit each. On my original rating exam after I left the military they stated both were NSC. Now the elbow gets really painful. I was ignorant on the 1st exam and many years later realize I should have contested it. Is it difficult at this point (over 20 years later) to raise this issue with my beloved VA?

ptsd Off Set
Does anyone know where I go to read about when the VA can do an off set? I was SC ptsd10% and rated SC for Migraines and Endometriosis, but those were not compensable. I filed a med malpractice suit against the VA in 2004. In Nov. 2004 I applied through the DAV SO to have my benefits for PTSD and endometriosis raised and for IU due the the malpractice I had to stop working. I was increased to 30%PTSD and endometriosis 10% and was denied the IU. After some complications with my meds in 2006 I applied for my PTSD and endometriosis to be increased again. The PTSD was increased to 50% and the endometriosis was left at 10% with the statement..."At this point it is not cle…

Final Official Cue And Nod
Hey all, this stuff sure wasn't easy, but from the help I got from all of you I got it done, and I think it is done right. If you read the CUE and the NOD you will see a lot of your inputs. Thanks, we had at least a good full squad of folks here working on this. If you catch any errors that are devastating to the claims, please jump in, so I can send in amendments if necessary. Independent Living Services
My psych doctor told me to get into this program. However, I didn't really look into it. Anyway, my Vocah Rehab counseler mentioned it to you the other day. Because, my psych dr and my primary care dr say that I can no longer work or go to school. So, I was wondering if anyone ever participated in this program and if so, what exactly is it? Thanks All, Cherie33

ptsd Ptsd Claim
I am confused on what date is correct. I have been diagnosed with ptsd by VA doctors and am confident that it will be service connected do to 2 stressors (one in 1985 and another in 1991). My question is, my doctors have asked me when (what date) did these stressor start affecting me. The answer I have been giving them is, from those dates on (1985, 1991). I am just finally able to talk about them. Is the date that I am diagnosed going to be the date that the C&P docs go by? Because I have the C&P coming up and do not want to mess up anything. Or should I state that the date is 2005, since I have not been able to work since then do to my PTSD problems? Thanks…
