Had C&p's Yesterday
I had two C&P exams yesterday, one for anxiety and depression and the other for my knees, back, and right ankle. The exam for depression and anxiety went about how I expected. At the end the psychiatrist asked if it was my contention that the depression was connected to my service conected disabilites and that my inability to properly exercise was the cause. I restated my case that there is ample evidence, that although untreated, that I was having anxiety attacks while in service and that my lack of ability to run was the cause of that and the subsequent depression. I am pretty sure he agreed. The physical findings went really well. The examiner, a PA, noted a …

Ok Vike here you go: Service connection is no problem. In Jan 05 I had a stroke. In Feb/Mar 05 after Hospital, MRI and neurologist verifed that it was a stroke that was causing the paralysis of the left face, hand and foot. All three MEDICALLY DIAGNOISED this paralysis as Dejerine-Roussy Syndrome resulting from the Jan 2005 stroke. The claim was submitted in Mar 05 less than 60 days from the occurance of the stroke. In the claim it was asked that a claim be established for the stroke, secondary to ALREADY SERVICE CONNECTED hypertension and DMII under CFR 38 disability code 8008. As per 8008 it was asked that a 100 percent rating be assigned for six months effe…

Move To Repeal
You are all mere clicks away from your Senators and Congressmen/women- http://vawatchdog.org/07/nf07/nfMAR07/nf030807-8.htm I will follow through on contacting my representatives today- This is a time for all veterans to take ACTION- Please share at hadit whether you intend to have input into this lastest travesty or not- via your representatives in Congress- This is a Bill Of CHOICE!!!! hypertension Old Problems Become New Again
I'm a newbie on this site - please indulge me. I retired in 1988 and since have been recalled to active duty twice. I got out again in August 06. While on active duty I had a heart attack and stent replacement. Prior to my last recall I was 40% disabled. PTSD (30%), skin condition and Tinnitus (20%). Does anyone think this will speed up the claims dept. as they may be afraid MSNBC might do a specisl oon them or will it be business as usual.Thought that was unique the 3 star General gets fired in comes a 2 star & he gets fired & they put the same 3 star back at the same office. But, Oh well, if they do a good jobor business as usual they still get paid.See why they're in the Military because if they were in the Civilian World they'd be in the Unemployment line. GARY

ptsd (tbi) Traumatic Brain Injury & Va
I just finished my VA compensation & pension medical review. I spent a year + at Walter Reed and with various doctors. I submitted copies of my own records too the VA but some doc's still gave me a hard time. I submitted my military disability discharge and SSDI award letter I cannot see anything else they would need from me. Should I worry ? The VA wants me too take tests and be used as a case study,do I have too comply? All of a sudden TBI is the new thing for them but I was turned down for traumatic injury insurance but diagnosed and discharged with a brain injury? The doctors have told me that there is nothing they can do for me so why does the VA want too test …
