C&p Scheduled
Found my operating room report. Talks about never root compression and radiculopathy. Does say bilateral but more so in the left arm. Which was correct prior to the surgery, now it is more in the right arm. What should I take for my C&P and what should I expect? Thanks guys (C&P is for carpal tunnel & bilateral radiculopathy) I had a NCS done at the VA and it says I have both, but the VA doc said the carpal tunnel was not related to my neck problems. The carpal & cubital tunnel is in my right arm. I am also 10% for arthritis of the right wrist and 0% for trauma to the elbow. I know all my problems are caused byor aggraviated by my neck problems, but how do…

How Fast Does Backpay Get There?
Hey everyone, anyone know how fast back pay usually takes? I've read on some threads its always dispersed on the 1st or the 30th. On some other threads people say they usually get it before they get the white or brown envelope or confirmation letter from the VA. They say their supposed to rate my claim this week and was wondering. I was told that I would receive a response within 2 weeks after that. I think it would be great if I would get the back pay before the letter but, I dont see how.

Bell V Derwinski
http://www.va.gov/vetapp02/files03/0212490.txt The board makes this statement as to the veteran's claim: "While these 1980 VA medical records predate the 1985 final rating decision, and while records generated by VA facilities are now generally constructively of record regardless of whether those records are physically on file, Bell v. Derwinski, 2 Vet. App. 611, 613 (1992), the constructive notice doctrine does not apply to VA adjudications dated prior to the issuance of the decision in Bell, i.e. before July 21, 1992. See Lynch v. West, 12 Vet. App. 391 (1999). Thus, VA treatment records pertaining to the right ear, dated from 1980 to the prese…

ptsd Iu, Ptsd, And, Appeal On Right Knee
This is a series of e-mails between Myself and the RO. As with hadit You have to start at the bottom and read up to get in sequence. I hope you vets will read it and give me your opinions. I don't know what they are trying to tell me. I did call my rep and he called and verified My nod We filed on my knee was not in My file even though We sent it a couple on months ago. He faxed a new copy at their request. My Question is, are they trying to tell me, They are working on my IU claim, and my nod on my knee so they can consider my appeal on my ptsd, And if so would they put the iu and knee appeal on a fast track in order to meet the two year average they speak of…

Loose Rating
If I put in for an increase to my 100% IU/ 90% T&P to become 100% T&P schedule. Could they decrease my rating if I open up my case. I though if you are T&P the VA cannot decrease your rating. Why I trying to do this is because I have 20 years in service and trying to get my full retirement. I have been retired for the past five years. Please let me know something GOD BLESS.

The Value Of Well Written
The advise here at hadit on IMOs has been excellent-I sure feel 1968Army has done a great job as to showing what a good IMO should contain. I just posted this case for a vet here and feel that it bears it's own topic: http://www.va.gov/vetapp04/files2/0413922.txt A VA examiner and also a VACO doctor- The Chief Public Health and Environment Hazards Officer provided this VACO statement as this was an Agent Orange claim for a disease not on the presumptive list. The veteran succeeded in the claim. He had three excellent medical opinions. What is interesting is how the BVA determined that the VA's own speicalist had not provided an opinion that covered what …

Death Pension
Veteran served in Navy for twenty years, some of which during wartime. He passes away, non service connected. His widow receives Navy pension and social security. She is now residing in a nursing home. It is my understanding that she may now be entitled to a death pension from the veteran's administration. Her income may be reduced by unreimbursed medical expenses in order to qualify. It is also my understanding that there is an asset test for qualification. My first question is whether money received from a long term care policy is considered a reimbursement of a medical expense. It is my understanding that if she has over eighty thousand in assets …
